Golly, I don’t know where to start. My small family and I had been on a very long journey of building our first home before we came across Acrow. Acrow was the 5th building company we engaged with, with the previous company going into administration. As time went on due to the cost of living, it meant we could only afford to build a granny flat. But what Acrow built, was a home. Our home. It is beautiful, it is spacious and it is everything we had been dreaming of. We will never be able to thank everyone in the team for looking after us, the incredible commitment and their amazing communication. We honestly couldn’t recommend Acrow enough. Thank you so much.

Our granny flat project in Saratoga was completed mid-September 2024 and we are extremely pleased with the final product. We approached Acrow Homes based on their excellent reviews and after having a not that pleasant experience with another building company that in the course of the year increased their price by $100k (and that’s on a 2-bed granny flat!!). Mick and Chris are true professionals, and it was a pleasure to work with them. Chris managed the project with great care towards details, keeping our interest at heart, being always responsive and providing us with regular updates. A special mention to Crystal who has provided us with weekly email updates on the progress, always responsive and helping when needed. She has also taken us through the process of choosing the colours for the interior/ exterior, the tiles and everything else inside the flat, coming up with recommendations when we were getting stuck. From the start of the process to the finish, it went very smoothly. Communication was great throughout the entire project. No massive surprises in the scope of work however to set expectations, when building a new home there’s always something that requires a variation therefore budgets should allow for that. In summary, Acrow Homes have done an outstanding job for us and we’re confident they will handle future projects with same care and excellence they have provided to us. For those that are not feeling 100% confident in their chosen builder, it doesn’t hurt giving Acrow a call and see if they can help you.

We are so happy with our 2 bedroom Acrow Granny Flat. The whole process was seamless and we were very happy with the way the Acrow team looked after our build right from day 1. During construction, Dario always made us feel at ease and we are very grateful for his expertise and experience in managing any situation to ensure it was as stress free as possible for us. Dario and team’s communication was always fantastic. We really appreciated his honesty and ability to sort out any scenario with our best interest in mind. We started our granny flat process at the begining of 2020 and Acrow were the 3rd company we signed with. After paying a deposit and locking in an agreed cost to the 1st company, after several months, they increased the costs by 50%. We then repeated the process with a 2nd company who kept the inital costs the same until after final council approval, then they increased the costs by over 100%, apparently they found $150000 in unexpected site costs! We then approached Acrow and explained our situation. They took the time to look at our plans, contract and costings before we payed them anythng (a nice change). They couldn't see how the 2nd company had arrived at their site cost figures. Acrow suggested instead of starting again with council approval we choose an Acrow plan which is closest to our approved plan and apply to council for alterations. This was a realatively easy and quick process. Acrow stuck to the initial quoted cost and the only extra costs were ones we chose. We were very happy with the quality and professional manner of the whole Acrow team. Our point of contact, Dario was exceptional and was always easy to reach. Our final costs with Acrow were $130000 cheaper than the 2nd Granny flat company and $70000 cheaper than the 1st company. We highly recommend Acrow and would certainly use them again.

The process was so easy from beginning to end, even with issues with the bank drawing things out, the staff were so patient and understanding. The quality of the build is outstanding and was completed well ahead of schedule. Extremely happy with my experience and will definitely use Acrow again if the opportunity arises.

After analysing other Companies against Acrow it was easy to decide on Acrow with all the inclusions they offered on my 1 bedroom Petite Plus. The whole process was very smooth and managed well. Weekly communication throughout the process was effective and it was good to know what was happening each week. I would recommend Acrow Granny Flats.

I’ve been dealing with Acrow for almost 2 years and they have been great. The DA approval took 7 months due to delays with council. This unfortunately meant the build costs went up. There were then delays on my side getting the loan approved. Acrow were very patient through the whole process. Once they got the all clear the build was done in 3 months. I was very happy with the end result and the service provided by Acrow. I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to build a granny flat!

What a Fantastic Experience !! From the very beginning, The sales rep let me know all of the ins and outs ,very honest and did a great job getting the legals that needed to be done, The office staff were friendly and a great help in deciding the colours of the flat and the fixtures inside, The builder went over everything with a fine tooth comb, if he had an issue with anything he rang me about it and rectified it straight away, very knowledgeable, I met these guys face to face and they were all a pleasure to deal with, The best part is the price i was quoted is exactly what i paid even through price fluctuations during the build, Every friday i received an email telling me what was completed that week and what will be done next week, i was never out of the loop, This is a very professional outfit, I couldn't be happier ! Very satisfied with our build. Mick who believed our project could be done was amazing. We had a tricky area to fit the Studio in, but he never faulted, and proved that a challenge can turn out much better than expected. The quality of workmanship is outstanding, and I do not feel we would have received such quality workmanship anywhere else. The vibe in the studio is inviting and has such a cosy feel to it. It is absolutely beautiful, when our friends see it, they just can't believe it is there, and how gorgeous it is. It is like a hidden gem you don't expect to find hiding in the back yard. The ladies who work behind the scenes for Acrow were very responsive and friendly, always so courteous and helpful, especially Laura. A few hiccups happened which were rectified. The main downfall for us was communication with the construction side of things. (Not the ladies behind the scenes and who work in the office.)

I recently built a two bedroom granny flat with Acrow on my investment property. From day 1 through to completion, they kept me well informed as to what stages we were at and the turn around time was fantastic. The final product was at a high quality and could not be faulted. I now have tenants in place that absolutely love it there and have also expressed that they feel lucky to be in such a nice, secure home. Will be using them again in the future

Really happy with the service and end result. After hunting around for a granny flat builder, we found Acrow to be very responsive and transparent with pricing etc. We only had a couple of hiccups along the way (to be expected when building) but Acrow were proactive in finding the best outcome for us. We recommend Acrow and would build with them again.

Outstanding experience from the start. Before deciding to work with Acrow Homes I spoke with two other local granny flat builder but I could tell straight away that Acrow really knew what they were doing. I was concerned at the start that once I signed on the dotted line that all the service would disappear due to previous experiences but to my fortune, this was never the case. Acrow happily worked in with my additional plans to build a garage onsite at the same time and put trust in parts of the project that I was managing around the build at the same time. From the day the DA approval was granted, the build got off the ground straight away and was completed within the proposed timeline. Every step of the way I felt up to date and could always call or email through questions if required that were promptly answered. after sifting through nearly 20 granny flat builders, Acrow was my only logical choice. For pricing, service and quality of finished product they are 10/10. I would recommend Acrow to anyone thinking about building a granny flat. We found the company to be professional and very competitive in the growing market of granny flat builders. We made some alterations to our initial plan and were impressed with Acrow's advice and preparedness to accomodate these changes.

I did heaps of research on all of the Granny Flat builders in my locality prior to finally settling on Acrow to build my new granny flat to give my 2 eldest children their own space. To say that I am totally happy with the choice of Acrow as a builder is a gross understatement, the entire package from price to quality of finishes is first rate. Everything from the initial enquiry with Mick, the design phase with Sam, through colour selection with Crystal and finally to the construction phase with the project manager Dario, this was the easily the smoothest building project I have ever undertaken. Additionally, Dario was one of the most accommodating and easy to deal with people that I have ever encountered on a building site, nothing was to difficult for him and he always kept me informed of any changes to the schedule, (which was completed 2 weeks ahead of time by the way) and that makes me very happy. I also want to say a big shout out to all the tradies and subcontractors Acrow employed on the job. I wish to thank all of these amazing people and congratulate Acrow on what I consider truly superior service. Such dedication to customer relations is rarely experience in this day and the entire company as an organization can justifiably be proud of their achievements. The staff from Acrow, are second to none. Everything they’ve said they’d do, they’ve done. We are still in the throes of moving in, so no pics at present. But we’d like to mention our appreciation of some of the staff. The sales staff with Duke, the client administrator in Crystal, were both friendly, excellent and professional, also in hand at all times. The accounts department were always on the ball, contactable and helpful, thanks Louize. Our build team, the project manager Dario, exemplary, great guy to work with. Of the builders we’d like to mention Michael Villar, every time he went over and above and really cared about his work. The contractor guys were all professional in the way they worked. Overall a very good experience. There will always be a few hiccups in any construction, but as a team, Acrow as a team try to solve these issues every time. Overall our experience with Acrow leads us to feel we definitely went with the right company. I had Acrow build a granny flat in Kotara for me. They were a super professional outfit. Through a time of rising prices and a lot of supply shortages they totally honoured everything I originally signed for and built me a place to a high standard. The site was tricky, with various challenges, but they remained committed and finished the project on time and on budget, with not a single unexpected charge. Their after build services have also been particularly commendable. I certainly recommend building with Acrow.

Highly recommend the Acrow team. From my first interaction with Mick in sales we felt confident that our needs would be met. A few hiccups along the way as in all construction but everything was communicated to us and sorted out. Project was finished on budget and we are very happy with the end product as is my son who is living in the flat.
